Alkerden CofE Academy will open as an 8-form entry comprehensive secondary phase in Ebbsfleet Garden City.

Commencing in 2025, the school will open a bespoke temporary building with excellent facilities, including a music room, food technology room, dedicated drama space, science lab, computing suite and a 4G Multi-Use Games Area. The equipment from these facilities will form part of the permanent school. 

The initial cohort will be restricted to 150 pupils. In future years, recruitment for year 7 will eventually increase to 240 students.
