Uniform

We have an online uniform shop where you can purchase school uniforms and collect them from reception. The school colours are green, black and white. All pupils are required to wear school uniforms. School jumpers and cardigans carry the school logo and can be purchased from the school office. All items of uniform and PE clothing should be clearly and individually named.

Children are expected to come to school clean and tidy. No make-up or nail varnish should be worn. Any child with hair below collar length must have their hair tied back for school. This reduces the risk of head lice and enables children to carry out practical tasks without hair getting in their faces. Children should not wear excessively large hair accessories. Small hairbands, clips, and bows should be in the school colours; green, white, or black.

Additional Information

Coats - The colour of the coat is a parental choice, but it should be warm and waterproof during the winter months.

Jewellery - No jewellery should be worn at school, except stud earrings. Stud earrings will need to be removed for PE lessons, and we would recommend that children’s ears be pierced during the summer holiday. If studs cannot be removed, they should be taped using Micropore tape in the first six weeks after piercing. The tape will need to be provided by parents and kept in your child’s PE bag. After the six-week period has passed, we will ask that earrings be removed on PE days. Staff are not permitted to remove or replace earrings.

Children are permitted to wear Medic-Alert bracelets.

From year three, children may wear an analogue watch to school.

School Bags - Children in years R, 1 and 2 must use our school book bag to carry their belongings to and from school. These can be purchased from the school office. Children may attach a recognisable key ring to their bag to help make it more easily identifiable. Children aged 3, 4, 5 and 6 must use our school rucksack to carry their belongings to and from school. These can be purchased from the school office. Children may attach a recognisable key ring to their bag to help make it more easily identifiable.

Water Bottles - All children should bring a water bottle to school daily to ensure they remain hydrated. Please ensure these are named. Water bottles can be refilled throughout the day if necessary.

Hot Weather - Please apply sun cream to your child before they come to school.
